Certification Preparation Classes

Prepare for your HVAC certification exams (includes EPA 608, NATE, OSHA Certifications) tailored to ensure your success. FAQ

What are the admission requirements?

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED to enroll in our HVAC training programs.

How long is the training program?

Our training programs typically last between four to eleven months, depending on the course selected.

Are there online training options?

We provide both in-person and comprehensive online training options to meet your scheduling needs.
Our classes are approx. 70% online and 30% in-class labs. Lab Schedules are: Feb-Mar and Oct-Nov.

Why is your training program so different?

Our HVAC training is comprehensive and attainable, we provide 65-70% of our courses 'online'. ATI provides all needed tools and equipment for use in our labs; we however do not purchase or provide you with your own personal set of HVAC tools. You may purchase all tools and kits directly from our recommended manufacturer(s).

What is included in the course cost?

ATI provides online and written reference materials and training manuals as well as certified and licensed HVAC Instructors utilizing our exclusive ATI Training Curriculum and ATI videos, tests and exams. ATI provides all lab tools, test meters, test equipment, training units, electrical & HVAC simulator boards and all other materials for use in our 'hands-on' labs.  We do NOT provide nor purchase a personal set of tools for students. At the end of the course; you are able to purchase your own tools and kits directly from our trusted manufacturers or distributors. You can expect to spend from $1500 to $3500 (avg.) to get outfitted to work as an entry HVAC technician or installer for an HVAC service company.

Do you provide job placement assistance?

Yes, we offer job placement assistance to help our grads find employment in the HVAC industry including job placement for installers and for entry-level technicians with service companies to earn your 24/48 month 'on-the-job training' required for your HVAC Journeyman License.

What don't you train for?

We do not train for oil-burning or steam heating systems. We will teach basic residential ductwork systems & installation and air balancing, but we do not train in 'sheetmetal fabrication' or 'ductwork production'. We also do not train in industrial commercial HVAC systems, nor A3 (or flammable) refrigerants, nor ammonia-based systems. ATI provides necessary PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), lab supplies, and testing equipment while demonstrating all mandatory safety protocols.
